It’s looking a lot like Christmas around here! we’ve had an exciting weather week here in Vancouver- a few days of snow and even a bit of ice! To celebrate the season Ned put on his reindeer antlers and grudgingly agreed  to have his photo taken.

At the risk of being reported to the SPCA, the RSPCA or any other animal welfare society  we’ll show you the photo…

I know I know he looks less than happy, actually slightly less than sane in the image but he’s really  not a Grinch. We have put the antlers away, I’m not sure he appreciates “dressing up” for the holidays.

There are lots of smiling faces around here – I am a bit of a collector and I love all things Nutcracker. These fellows and a bunch of their friends are lined up along the mantle and their grins always make me smile!

Thanks everyone for braving the pouring rain and making it to the open house! I guess I should have called it an open studio since that where we were. I did promise some images and even though it feels like it was ages ago here they are.

It all looked so pretty and festive at the start of the day

There were lots of goodies both to look at and to eat!

It was a wonderful day but a bit tiring for almost everyone.
